The Vita Nova, originally named the Tijdgeest was built and launched in 1913 as a cargo ship trading in and around Holland. The captain, Hisse, took over the ship and totally rebuilt her as a passenger ship in 1996, since then she has sailed the waterways of Holland bringing joy and unforgettable memories to countless thousands of holiday makers.
She is a magnificent ship with 24 cabins on 2 decks they are 1 or 2 berth with or without showers. There is, of course, separate showers and toilets on both decks. A spacious day room able to seat 50 persons complete with a stocked bar and a desk with all the information leaflets on Holland you ever wish to see. Or if you would like it better there is a huge sundeck for just relaxing and enjoying the fresh air.
