The Liberté is a compact boat built at Kampen, Holland in 1917. Originally sail only she sailed the canals around Ysel, Zwolle and the Overysel where she transported mainly turf and coke. She is 19.89m long and 4.36m wide having 5 cabins each having its own shower and toilet. Between 30th September and 1st April, like the Vita Nova, she is moored in the Oosterdok Amsterdam and used as a floating hostel.
